Suryakumar Yadav has signed for a home in Dubai with Danube Properties, the developer behind the tower named after Shah Rukh Khan in Dubai Maritime City. The purchase price is undisclosed. It arrives as Dubai records AED 252 billion in Q1 2026 property transactions, a rise of 31% on the year before (DLD records).
India’s T20 World Cup-winning captain shared a video from the signing, showing him completing the paperwork while his wife Devisha Shetty looked on. The seller is Danube Properties, the Dubai developer founded by Rizwan Sajan.
Reports place the home close to Shahrukhz Residences in Dubai Maritime City. The building, floor, unit type and amount paid have not been officially released, so the exact address remains private for now.
The Bollywood link comes through the developer. Shahrukhz Residences is Danube’s residential tower carrying Shah Rukh Khan’s name, and the second project from the actor’s partnership with Sajan. The first was Shahrukhz by Danube, a commercial tower the developer says sold out on its launch day.
Shah Rukh Khan described the aim of the new tower in his own words: “The idea is to create a home that allows my fans to experience a similar lifestyle as mine.” His wife Gauri Khan, an interior designer, has designed its penthouses, a role he said “makes it even more special.”
According to Rizwan Sajan, buyers of the commercial tower asked Danube to bring the same experience “to residential living," which led to the residential launch.
Many headlines call the cricketer Shah Rukh Khan’s new neighbour. The actor’s own Dubai home, though, is the villa Jannat on Palm Jumeirah. What Suryakumar’s home is reported to be close to is the tower bearing the actor’s name, not the actor’s residence.
Dubai is not new to him. He first came to the city in 2014 and returned in 2020. In his words, people from India are looking towards Dubai, and the standard of living sets it apart. He said Mumbai, where he lives, is safe, and that Dubai matches it on security, adding that coming to the city brings him comfort and happiness.
His post also picked out one amenity: “The 40+ premium amenities are impressive, but what won me over is the Longevity Lounge! Something unheard in residential projects.”
The feature that caught his eye is a wellness suite built into Shahrukhz Residences. Its Longevity Lounge brings together cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a red light therapy bed and an infrared sauna. Danube lists it among more than 40 lifestyle amenities, which also include:

The purchase lands in an active market. Dubai Land Department figures for Q1 2026 show 60,303 transactions, with 29,312 first-time investors entering the market.
