Dubai Properties commenced operations in 2002 under the name Estithmaar Realty. It was established with the vision of becoming a world-class real estate and asset management organisation that would play a key role in Dubai’s emerging real estate industry.
The company was founded on a single project: Jumeirah Beach Residence, acclaimed as the world’s largest single-phase residential project. Rather than beginning with a small development, Dubai Properties opened with an entire beachfront district.
In 2005 the company evolved to become a company of Dubai Holding, a diversified global company with operations spanning 13 countries and 10 sectors. Dubai Holding had been established a year earlier, in 2004, to manage a portfolio of projects supporting Dubai’s economic, social and industrial development.
More than two decades on, Dubai Properties has grown from that single project into a portfolio of master communities and destinations across the Emirate.
Dubai Properties sits within a three-tier structure. Dubai Holding is the group. Dubai Holding Real Estate is the holding company beneath it. Dubai Properties is one of three brands held by Dubai Holding Real Estate.
| Level | Entity | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Group | Dubai Holding | Diversified global company - 13 countries, 10 sectors. Established 2004. |

Dubai Holding Real Estate is associated with neighbourhoods including Port De La Mer, City Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Bluewaters, Mudon, Remraam and The Villa. It holds one of the largest land banks in the region, positioned for future projects.
Ejadah, the third brand under Dubai Holding Real Estate, operates the group’s legacy projects after handover through professional property and community management. For a buyer, this means a Dubai Properties community continues to be managed within the same group that built it.
Dubai Properties’ villa and townhouse-led master communities are concentrated in Dubailand and released in named or numbered phases.
