About Iman Developers

Not every name in Dubai real estate arrives chasing the skyline. Iman Developers took the quieter route. It started in 2016 with a single address in Jumeirah Village Circle, and over the next nine years it turned that one foothold into a run of fifteen residential projects. Today it is a small to mid sized developer rather than a mass market giant. It is smaller than the household names, but its portfolio is large enough to have a clear identity of its own. If you are working out who actually builds the mid range apartment stock in Dubai's newer districts, Iman is one of the names you keep running into.

The company is registered and run out of Dubai, and all of its work so far has stayed inside the emirate. That focus is deliberate. Instead of spreading thin across cities or property types, Iman has kept building the same thing, residential apartment communities, in a short list of districts it knows well.

Who runs the company?

The company is headed by Chief Executive Officer Ismail Marfani. What matters more than the title is the record attached to it. By the company's own account, fifteen developments have been started, nine of them already handed over and six still in progress. For a developer that only began in 2016, that is a busy build cycle, and it is the number the leadership points to when the conversation turns to reliability.

Apartments for sale and villas for sale

Apartments are the core of everything Iman does. The newer buildings run from compact studios up to four bedroom duplexes, with some of the higher end units adding private pools and terraces. So when buyers search for apartments for sale by Iman, that is most of what is actually on offer.

Villas exist, but they belong to the early years. Oxford Villa, one of the developer's first projects, was built as a small run of luxury villas, and it is still the main answer for anyone looking specifically for a villa for sale under this brand. It is worth being clear that villas are not a current line for them the way apartments are.

Where to find an Iman address

Rather than scatter projects everywhere, Iman has concentrated on four Dubai communities. Each one says something about the kind of buyer the developer is after:

  • Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC): the starting point and still the heartland. Most of the Oxford series and One Park Square sit here.
  • Arjan: a fast filling district near the Miracle Garden, home to projects such as Oxford Gardens.
  • Dubai Hills: the more upmarket address on the list, where The Grove by Iman was delivered.
  • Motor City: the current growth story, with 15 Cascade and the larger Sierra rising near the community entrance.

The full portfolio, from Oxford to the new era

The portfolio splits neatly into phases. The early years were the Oxford run: Oxford Villa, Oxford Residence and Residence 2, Oxford Boulevard, Oxford 212, Oxford Terraces and Terraces 2, Oxford Gardens and 10 Oxford. After that came a more ambitious One chapter with One Park Central, One Sky Park and One Park Square, alongside Gardens 2 and The Grove. The latest phase is the biggest yet: 15 Cascade and Sierra in Motor City, the newly launched Oxford Cove, and an unnamed development lined up for Al Sufouh.

Read in order, the list shows a developer steadily moving up, from small JVC apartment blocks toward larger projects with more amenities.

Do they actually hand over on time?

For a mid market developer, the handover history is the real test, and Iman's is set out year by year. Oxford Villas went to owners in 2017, Oxford Residence in 2018, Residence 2 in 2020, and Oxford Boulevard in 2021. The pace has held in recent years too. Oxford Terraces 2 and The Grove were both handed over during 2025, with Oxford Gardens following in December 2025. Handing projects over on schedule is the reputation this developer has worked hardest to build, and the timeline broadly supports it.

Where the company stands right now

The clearest sign of where Iman is heading is Sierra. Priced at around AED 900 million, this Motor City project holds 593 units around a 75,000 square foot amenity deck, a far bigger job than the compact JVC blocks the company started with. It also won awards. Sierra was named Best Mixed Use Development in the UAE for 2025 by Business Tabloid and listed among the Top 100 Luxury Residences of the World 2025 by the Luxury Lifestyle Awards, while 15 Cascade won Best Mixed Use Development in Dubai at the Arabian Property Awards.

Put the totals together, more than fifteen developments, over 4,500 homes, and a solid run of awards since 2016, and the picture is of a developer that has grown past its startup phase without losing focus. The direction points clearly toward larger mixed use projects, with Motor City as the main driver of the next stretch of growth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Iman Developers was set up in 2016 and has been based in Dubai ever since. Across those years it has grown into a fifteen project developer, adding the apartments for sale that now fill several of Dubai's newer residential districts.

Iman Developers is led by Chief Executive Officer Ismail Marfani. Under his direction the company has grown from a single Jumeirah Village Circle project into a fifteen development brand, launching new residential projects across Dubai almost every year since 2016.

Iman Developers mainly sells apartments, from compact studios up to four bedroom duplexes, and these apartments for sale make up most of its portfolio. There is also one early project, Oxford Villa, that offers a luxury villa for sale, though villas are not a current focus.

Iman Developers builds across four Dubai communities: Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), Arjan, Dubai Hills and Motor City. Most of its apartments for sale sit in JVC and Motor City, while Arjan and Dubai Hills hold some of the newer and more upmarket addresses.

Iman Developers rests its reputation on completions. Of fifteen developments, nine are already handed over and six are underway, and its 2025 handovers all arrived on schedule. For buyers, that steady delivery record is the strongest reason to trust the brand.

Iman Developers is currently building Sierra, a large mixed use project in Motor City, alongside the recently launched Oxford Cove and a further development planned for Al Sufouh. Together these add many new apartments for sale to the pipeline over the coming years.

Yes. Jumeirah Village Circle is where Iman Developers began, and it still holds many of its apartments for sale, including much of the Oxford series and One Park Square. It remains the main place to find an Iman address in Dubai.
