Emaar The Heights Country Club & Wellness vs DAMAC Islands Phase 2

Even though both communities are “new” and still developing, the intention behind them is completely different:

• Emaar The Heights Country Club & Wellness is designed as a wellness-centric suburban lifestyle, focusing on greenery, open spaces, and internal community amenities. It aims to offer calm, structured living - something close to a lifestyle retreat - while staying connected to major roads.
• DAMAC Islands 2 is created as a coastal urban lifestyle, built around beaches, waterfront promenades, tourism zones, and future hospitality projects. It is more diverse, more tourism-influenced, and far more open in its development direction.

Both are strong in their own ways. But the right one for you depends entirely on whether you prefer land-based, wellness-focused living or waterfront, tourism-integrated living.

Emaar The Heights Country Club & Wellness

Located along the Al Yalayis Road corridor (near Emaar South/Jebel Ali side), this community is designed for people who want distance from the city's busy zones. The idea is to offer clean air, wider spaces, and less density.

What this means in real life:

• Daily commute feels predictable due to direct access to major highways.
• Schools and hospitals are reachable but not “close by” you should expect drives rather than quick hops.
• The environment feels quieter, more family-driven, and less touristy.
• Residents will rely heavily on community-based amenities rather than external commercial hubs.

DAMAC Islands 2

Located off the northern coastline, Dubai Islands is directly connected to mainland Deira via bridges. It is positioned near older, well-established Dubai districts yet aims to recreate them into a newer, more modern waterfront extension.

What this means in real life:

• Very short drive to Deira, Bur Dubai, and older commercial districts.
• Proximity to schools, hospitals, and workplaces is stronger compared to The Heights.
• Ports, beaches, marina areas, and beachfront retail will define the lifestyle.
• It feels more connected to “old Dubai energy” but with brand-new infrastructure.

Summary:

If your daily life requires frequent city access,  DAMAC Islands 2 is easier.
If your priority is serenity and space over commute, The Heights suits you better.

Emaar The Heights Country Club & Wellness

This community is built around a country-club lifestyle—which is quite rare in Dubai.

Masterplan themes:

• Large green open spaces
• Wellness zones, walking trails, fitness facilities
• Lagoons or water bodies for visual appeal (not beaches)
• Clubhouse-oriented social life
• Low-rise, family-friendly neighborhoods
• More privacy, less density

The intention is to build a place where people can disconnect from high-speed urban life. The design is systematic, predictable, and focused on mental and physical well-being.

DAMAC Islands 2

The masterplan is far more dynamic and mixed-use. It combines:

• Beaches and waterfront promenades
• Hotels and tourist attractions
• Marina lifestyle
• Residential clusters
• Retail and entertainment avenues

Dubai Islands is not built around a single lifestyle concept like “wellness.”
Instead, it blends urbanity + beach living + tourism potential.

Summary:

The Heights = controlled, peaceful, wellness-first environment
Dubai Islands = energetic, diverse, coastal urban experience
