What is the Dubai Real Estate Diploma?
Imagine a two-year program where you aren't just reading textbooks but sitting in the boardrooms of Emaar, Sobha, and Nakheel. That’s exactly what this is. The Dubai Land Department (DLD) teamed up with the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) to create a 90-hour accredited path that covers:
- The Art of the Deal: How to actually broker a multi-million dirham sale
- The Law: Knowing the rules so you can protect investors
- The Future: Using AI and data (PropTech) to predict where the next "hot" area will be
- Show Me the Money: Fees & Support
One of the best things about this program is how the government is backing it.
- Is it free? For most Emirati jobseekers, yes. It's tied into the Nafis program and the "Real Estate Empowerment" initiative. The goal is to get 3,000 Emiratis working in the sector by the end of this year.
- The "Hidden" Perk: Usually, getting a RERA license costs a few thousand dirhams and requires a tough exam. Graduates of this diploma often get a much smoother path (and sometimes fee waivers) to getting their professional license.
