DAMAC Properties is a developer headquartered in Dubai that has built homes in the city since 2002, and it belongs to DAMAC Group, which Hussain Sajwani founded in 1982. The company has handed over more than 50,000 homes, and its master communities include DAMAC Hills, DAMAC Hills 2, DAMAC Lagoons and DAMAC Islands. It listed on the Dubai Financial Market in 2015 and became a private company again in 2022, when its founder bought the remaining shares.

In 2025, DAMAC Properties recorded AED 36 billion in sales, the highest total among private developers in Dubai, and Amira Sajwani serves as its Managing Director. Its 2024 DAMAC Islands launch earned a Guinness World Records title for the highest single day revenue from a real estate launch, at over AED 10.2 billion. Branded work includes Chelsea Residences by DAMAC with Chelsea Football Club, and the company has entered Iraq with DAMAC Hills Baghdad.

Work under way in 2026 includes about 6,300 homes in DAMAC Lagoons, more than 1,500 villas in DAMAC Hills 2 and handovers at Chic Tower and Elegance Tower, within a pipeline of over 55,000 units.

DAMAC Hills is a master community in Dubailand with road access from Al Qudra Road and Hessa Street. It has more than 11,800 homes, including over 3,000 villas and townhouses, over 5,000 apartments and more than 450 hotel rooms and serviced apartments. Trump International Golf Club Dubai opened here in February 2017, and nearly 4 million Sq.Ft. of parkland includes gardens and lakes. Malibu Bay, a wave pool, opened in November 2020, and about 85 percent of the community is now completed and handed over.

DAMAC Hills was the first master community DAMAC Properties built, and it includes a 4 star Radisson hotel that opened in 2021. The golf course is lit for night play, and a mosque serves residents inside the community. In September 2025, DAMAC District was launched within DAMAC Hills as a new phase of the master plan.

Building insurance for the towers is arranged by the owners association, and its cost is part of the annual service charge. The policy covers the structure and common areas against fire and smoke, storms, floods, earthquakes, lightning, explosions and water damage from burst pipes in shared areas. It does not cover what is inside each apartment, owner improvements or personal liability.

Contents insurance is optional for end users and protects furniture, appliances and personal items, which matters in a unit sold with a full furniture package. Investors who rent out their apartment can add landlord insurance for rent default, tenant damage and liability. For buyers using a mortgage, UAE lenders make life insurance a condition of the loan, while the structure itself stays under the owners association policy.
